As the board of Siloam foundation, we believe that every person has the right to a dignified existence. Of the Christian conviction; namely, that the love of God for man has become visible in the finished work of Jesus Christ. We believe that this has bridged the gap for every person to be able to fully return to their destination; namely a life from a relationship with God and his neighbor. To be a person who is loved and seen!
The purpose of the foundation has its origin in our mission, namely that every person has the right to a dignified existence. In reaching our goal, we use Biblical principles that guide us. We are inspired by the words of Jesus Christ himself, as He gives to His followers in Matthew 22: 37 and 39b:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." And "Love your neighbor as yourself" (NBV).
The foundation aims to teach the gospel and to promote assistance in Curaçao. Assistance is considered an integral part of the proclamation.
